    ​Our theme for the 2024 conference was,     "Better",
    based upon  Luke 10:42 (NRSV),
    "Mary has chosen the better part, which
    will not be taken away from her."​

    Our excellent featured speakers for the 2024 "Better" conference were Chaplain Captain Christie Torres from Chicago, Dr. Greta Stokes Tucker from Pittsburgh and our keynote speaker, Lisa Burkhardt Worley, who came in from Texas.

    Chaplain Capt. Christie Torres     is a decorated Army chaplain who has also received ordination for ministry through the Assemblies of God. Dr. Greta Stokes Tucker is an adjunct instructor for the Catholic Studies department at Duquesne University who also serves in various capacities at Pittsburgh's historic
    St. Benedict the Moor Parish. 
    Our keynote speaker who is now - Dr. Lisa Burkhardt Worley,     was an accomplished sports anchor who
    went on to establish Pearls of Promise Ministries which produces the POP Talk podcast
    as well as award-winning documentaries which are aimed at fighting antisemitism.

    Chaplain, Justine Jones, was selected by The New Pittsburgh Courier to be recognized among their 2024 Women of Excellence. A special time of celebration and an awards ceremony was held for these dynamic women in December of last year. Again, congrats to you, Justine!
